Greetings from Australia. I just visited the site when told about it by a distant cousin, Ian Hooker, who is one of your members. I am amazed by the pieces I have seen here and want to pass on my appreciation for your art. The web is a wonderful thing when we can enjoy art around the world with such immediacy. I find wood fascinating and comforting and to see it finished so exquisitely is a surprise and a joy. Ian tells me there are 43 of you and it must be terrific to meet and share your creations with others who truly appreciate your craft. Best wishes to you all. Pam Krstic

Hi Ron, I don't believe I have had the pleasure of meeting you , I moved up to Scotland from Chippenham 18 months ago and now am a lucky chappie in that I am a full time woodturner. won't be able to make the meetings a bit too far, will be interested in the Clubs' progres though , I do venture south twice a year so may look you up some time, wish you all the very best with the Club. Hi from Jordan Middle East Sorry to miss the meetings but keep up to date via the web pages what a god send. Have now found a lathe of sorts Wood shouldnt be a problem with over 1 million olive trees at my disposal.

Went to meeting on Wednesday evening & i'm very impressed with all that went on, i learned a lot just from first visit. Hope to learn a lot in the coming months as i have only been turning for just over two years. Thanks for setting up the group.
